The miniature linear actuator is used for simple push or pull operations and for example for the actuation of one-way on-chip valves. With a stroke of 2 mm and a peak force of 3.5 N, the miniature linear drive is very powerful with very small dimensions and a weight of just 5 g.

This is driven by a shape memory alloy.
